We Made Tea for TikTok, Here's What We Learned.

There's a certain kind of person who doesn't need more stimulation. They need more clarity.

You feel it the moment you walk into TikTok's Silicon Valley office. Real energy, no performance. People heads down, laughing across desks, moving with quiet purpose. We set up, poured tea, and somewhere between the first cup and the last conversation, it stopped feeling like a visit.

It felt like exactly the kind of afternoon you want more of.

One thing we love about what we do is the people it brings into our world. And when we sat down with the designers, we kept hearing the same story in different forms.

Bijun said it best: when she's locked into a design, time disappears. Hours pass. If she reaches for anything, it's whatever takes zero thought to grab. Brewing something, she told us, feels like breaking the spell.

That one line changed how we think about what we're building.

Hydration doesn't lose to carelessness. It loses to flow.

The answer was never "try harder." It was removing the decision entirely — something warm, close, already waiting. Not another thing to remember. Just part of the rhythm.

A desk teapot doesn't ask you to pause your day. It quietly becomes part of it. Some things feel old-fashioned until you realize they never actually stopped working.

We'd made a special batch for TikTok before the visit. So when the invitation came, we didn't think twice.

Thank you for having us. Some afternoons just remind you why you started.
